So the basis of this is that sometime in the early stages of my living in California, I acquired a 50gallon fish tank. Now I got it from D, who had inherited it from H. H having lived at D's place and moved out in an epic blowout style fashion. H had gotten it from M in a horsetrading bit, because M, who had originally gotten it from J. J was getting rid of it because his reptile that he had kept in it had died. M traded for it because B said he had wanted a bigger fish tank. B decided to not take it and thus H got it. (Hopefully this is not confusing), So at any rate I ended up with a fish tank. I have moved with this tank that was Named "Jaws in Training" by V because he wanted me to breed a champion, from San Jose, to South SF, to Mountain View, to San Lorenzo, to San Bruno, to Cupertino, and from Cupertino A to Cupertino B. It's seen some miles. Well The short of it is that I've been noticing that there is a severe water depreciation within the tank. Further inspection revealed rather serious wood rot/damage to the tank at multiple places which leads me to believe that the bottom and sides of the tank were leaking. Today, I took the tank down. All of the fish found homes at the local mom and pop pet shop, it is my hope that they will find good homes with owners who have good schools of fish for them to swim with. The tank will be drained of water and then gravel removed. I will most likely free cycle the tank, though I have rumors of a friend who might need another lizard cage. *shrugs* either way, its time with me has come to an end. Just wished it could have kicked it another couple of years.
