Advise From the Peanut Gallery Please.

So here is the skinny...


I am officially done with my history degree at CSUEB.. Graduated overwith, however the Degree is still "in review", which means that as long as it hasn't posted, I can extend my graduation quarter out to the next quarter or the quarter after that, up to 4 times. So I could in fact graduate in the Winter of 09 instead of like today.

I have two classes remaining to get my Major in Political science. If done I would walk with 2 degrees instead of 1. But doing so would put me on campus until March of 09...

Should I do it? Should I not? Is it going backwards? whats the take?

2 degrees is better than 1.

You shall never have a better time to get it - 2 classes now with all of the prerequisites up-to-date is where you want to be.

That's not a lot of work for a whole lot of reward. Get the second degree, it can only do you good.

It doesn't sound like you have any urgent plans that would be put on hold if you stopped to pick up the PolySci merit badge. If that's an accurate assessment, I'd do it now.

I heartily agree with the 2 degree plan. There will never be a better time to seize the day and finish what you started.

Seriously, stick it out, snap up the 2nd degree now.
You are only talking 9 more months.

I personally would. As soon as i have the money to finish the last three classes I need to get my second major i am doing it. It would open many doors for you my friend as long as it is fiscally reasonable... DOOOO IT

Seriously, do it. You will kick yourself if you don't. Besides that way I won't be the only one getting my Poli Sci degree in March of '09. :)
