When in doubt about job offers....

So I called back Company B, as they left me a message to call and fill out forms for the next phase of the employment process. I was worried that this would be the offer phase. So I stalled for the weekend and called. Its for a background check approval. So I told them I could be in this afternoon to sign the forms. I just bought A couple of more days.
Company A hasn't gotten back to me yet. I will call later this afternoon. I need to nail this down. (edit: I got into contact with Company A. They are still interviewing a couple of more people, but I am on the shortlist. They also said something about not missing an opportunity. Which I may read as being I'm not the top choice.)
Company C is hopefully going to get back to me as well..
