...In which the Hero learns that sometimes when the heroine leaves an open door for you to spout off with some tasteless, colorless, and tactless comment, It might be better to close the door and lock it, rather than walking into a carefully laid trap. Though the hero could just decide to sandbag said comment until safety is insured.
