NV won't go to McCain, the majority of the state is registered Democrat out of Vegas. Northern NV is conservative, the bulk of the population lives in Vegas and the outlying towns.

I think it might go Republican. Its gone that way the last two elections. However the margin keeps shrinking. So we can hope that the Great and Glorious Citizens of Nevada have "seen the light" and go Blue instead of red.

On a side note, I thought about what it would say if McCain Lost Arizona.

Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa are all still in play (and how much do I hate myself for using that phrase?)

I think Iowa will go McCain (and part of the reason Palin was brought in was to win Iowa and Ohio, both states where she's done very well in polls) and to give them a better short at CO, where she hasn't provided that much of a boost to McCain.

On the other hand, I don't think Nevada is a sure thing yet for McCain, and Georgia and Virginia are running closer to Dem than they have in years (even though Obama pulled some of his forces from GA). I could totally see Obama taking Virginia.

It'll be close, but I still think Obama will win.

NM and CO will most likely go Democrat, thank the DNC (Convention) and Gov. Bill Richardson for that. I think Iowa will lean Democrat because it has in the past. It barely went Republican last election (Less than 11k).

I'll concede Ohio to the Republicans not because I think that Palin is going to carry the state, but because they have carried it the last couple of elections. The other problem is that I think Palin causes more problems than she solves. Georgia being in the Deep South of Bible Thumping, you would think that it would be a lock with anti Choice Palin... But in the end I think Georgia will go with McCain.

Virginia is a nice feather in the Cap if the Democrats can pull it off. Jim Webb has done an excellent job and being a Former Republican helps with language barriers. I think it was WEbb that told the President that how his Son was doing was none of his business at a function. Ahhh I love me some Rough Shod Democrats.
