Yet, glass is suppose to be fragile.
Oct. 5th, 2008 11:21 amYesterday came and saw my fish tank get moved for the 6th time in its carnation as a fish tank. For those of you who don't know. I own a 55 gallon glass aquarium. Glass I have been told is not a very durable material for moving when it comes to tanks. However, my opinion might be changing on that. However, like most tanks, you will experience fish loss in the move, it just happens. However, I hope that the loss I experienced is all that I will experience. Out of the move I lost:
1 Plecco
2 Bala Sharks (Not the Monster, but his bitches)
3 Neon Tetra
1 Red Tail shark
This was carnage on a whole different scale. Though I did the best I could with what I had. I had to use Zip lock bags, because theasshat at Petco when I asked him for fish bags did two things that tweeked with me. 1) He assumed that I was a rookie when it came to fish and treated me as such, and 2) Tried to sell me a battery operated air pump and told me to go to target and get a Storage container. What was great is when I engaged him and showed that I knew what I was doing, he simply just blew it off and walked away. This is not what customer service is suppose to be. I wont be going back there.. Ever.
I digress.
