Cracker Barrel is actually full of crackers.

there is a cracker barrel less than 5 miles from here... and philly cheesesteaks not too far from here, too. sounds like a reason for a visit.

If you want a taste of White Castle there are frozen ones available at most grocery stores. Granted it's not fresh White Castle but is an acceptable substitute.
Edit: There is a great pizza joint in Palo Alto called Paxti's. They have the closest deep dish pizza outside of Chicago.

Cracker Barrel has never really impressed me, but Toby's has!
