Wow... Thats kinda Ballsy.
Apr. 21st, 2010 11:31 amSo for those of you who may or may not know. The County of Sonoma did some really down right evil and vile things to a Mr. Clay Green and his life partner of 20 years Harold Scull. Both of whom were older and did all the legal paperwork to insure that they would be able to take care of each other if the need ever arose. However, when Mr. Scull had an accident on his front porch, the County separated them, ignored the legal paperwork that was filed, misrepresented their status to the courts, and when given limited access to Mr. Scull's account to pay for medical expenses. Took it upon themselves to terminate the lease, sell off all the couple's belongings without any kind of proper documentation or input, and then refused to let them see each other. Mr. Scull died without ever seeing his partner. Well needless to say Mr. Greene is suing the County of Sonoma, and I will save my personal opinion about this. However, The county is defending its actions by claiming domestic violence.... I can't even begin to parse the words on my feelings about this....
